Upper Cascades Waterfall, Hanging Rock State Park
It could hardly be easier to see this pretty waterfall at Hanging Rock State Park. The trail to the Upper Cascades Falls is a 0.2-mile walk on crushed rock, which begins on the 0.1-mile, paved Rock Garden Trail just off of the parking lot and leads to a long bridge/overlook.
- If you missed it, see our main page about Hanging Rock State Park.
The overlook has multiple levels where you can see the falls, and allows access to the area below.

And it’s easy to get to the foot of the falls.
For those who are more adventurous, there’s additional opportunity to climb and play along Cascade Creek.
